We don't start with features. We ask what should change for your business: more direct bookings, faster processes, stronger customer loyalty. That is how we measure the outcome.
Current challenges
Digital products that succeed in the market.
We currently support these apps, platforms and websites with tailored solutions for shared goals: increasing revenue, optimizing processes and building customer loyalty.
We built iPad apps when the iPad was new, and trade fair apps in a day and a half. Making new technology useful early gives our clients a head start.

2010 · AIDA Cruises
A new stage for holiday anticipation.
With one of the first German iPad apps, AIDA brought the world of cruising to what was then an entirely new kind of device.
Discover destinations, track ships and explore the world of AIDA: the tablet app offered a new way to look forward to the next voyage.

2012 · DRF Luftrettung
Raising donations digitally.
Working with DRF Luftrettung, we were early adopters of a professional approach to fundraising through websites and apps.
From strategy and concept through design and development, the website and app combined insights into air rescue with practical ways to help through donations and supporting memberships.

2013 · AIDA Cruises
A portal for life on board.
We conceived and designed the first AIDA onboard portal: a shared service for cabin televisions, public touchscreens and guests’ own smartphones.
More capable televisions made it possible to replace the previous IPTV system with a welcoming, interactive web portal. Travel planning, reservations and wayfinding became accessible across three different settings.

Speech Repository
2015 · European Commission
For the next generation of conference interpreters.
Together with Munich-based TV1, we developed a comprehensive training platform built on Drupal.
Behind the public speech collection, we built protected learning and community features, administration for multiple organisations with delegated responsibilities, and automated video processing. The design followed EU guidelines. We then handed the entire platform over to the Commission’s specialist teams to manage independently.

For simplr, we conceived and developed the brand mark, app and website. As early as 2016, the app covered the full range of contract management, including digital signatures.
Contract amendments and new contracts could be signed directly in the app. We later handed the app and website over to the client for further in-house development.

The next round
2017 · AIDA Cruises
Collect questions. Challenge friends.
We conceived, developed and maintained the AIDA Quiz app as a complete single-player and multiplayer experience.
An easy introduction and a system for collecting tricky questions encouraged players to keep going: collected questions could be used to challenge other players. The app was enthusiastically received by the fan community. As guests progressed through the quiz ranks, they deepened their knowledge of AIDA, ship technology, captains and destinations.

2018 · Seetours
A distinct brand. A new way to discover cruises.
Our work on Seetours, a dedicated sales channel for AIDA Cruises, began in 2018.
We developed the platform and continue to support its operation and development. The current case study shows how the offering has evolved since then.

The right companion for every stage of the journey.
The fourth generation of the AIDA app supported guests from their first inspiration through booking and preparation to arrival day and life on board.
The app recognised each guest’s situation and brought the relevant features to the forefront. After the trip, AIDA Lounge kept the connection alive. We maintained this commercially successful, multiple-award-winning app from its launch in 2018 until its retirement in 2026.
