About us

Software company in Berlin. Since 2008.

Our team of senior developers, designers and project managers works flexibly with our clients' teams. We have repeatedly taken on project roles that were missing on the client side, from project ownership to working as developers within an existing team. This has helped us move projects forward pragmatically together and complete them successfully.

Some clients now see us as an in-house department at another location. We value that trust, and it shapes our approach to working together.

What drives me

I want to understand how our clients' businesses work.

I enjoy getting to grips with new topics. I'm interested in how a company works, what its customers need and what changes are shaping its market. I particularly enjoy understanding the connections in complex subjects and turning them into concrete ideas.

That's why long-term client relationships matter to me. Over time, we get to know a product, its users and the decisions behind it ever better. We can put new requirements in context and spot changes sooner. My ambition is to look one or two years ahead: what might become important for this client? What can we prepare for today?

When I see a way to improve a process or develop an offering, I want to raise it early, even if it isn't part of the current assignment. These conversations can lead to proposals we assess together and then implement. This combination of understanding, thinking ahead and building is exactly what makes our work rewarding for me.

Developed through experience

Our own applications and tools have also grown out of client projects. When a task keeps recurring, we consider how to solve it better for the long term. We develop the solution, test it against new requirements and apply what we learn to further projects. Over the years, our agency business has become a software company with its own applications.

What's on our minds

How we reach decisions, what we try and what we learn: our articles offer insights into the questions we encounter in our daily work. Through real projects, we show what works and where we continue to learn.

How AI selects photos for editors

For the AIDA Lounge, we assess photos with AI on our own hardware. Here, we explain the editorial selection, review results and reasons for operating the system ourselves.

What do frontier models do differently?

For Seetours offer pages, the local models tested, including those in the 120-billion-parameter class, fell short of commercial frontier models. What does this experience tell us about model selection, and what can't we infer from it?
