Support the conversation in your community
Photos, posts and comments bring a community to life. Turning individual contributions into a reliable service takes rules and people who apply them daily. We manage user-generated content according to your guidelines, handle unclear cases and consider feedback. We know this work from the daily operation of the AIDA Lounge, where guests share travel experiences, ask questions and talk to fellow travellers. Editorial decisions and technical support work hand in hand.
We start by clarifying which content should be managed and which criteria guide editorial decisions. This includes the desired scope of support, responsibilities and handling of cases that require further coordination. Rules must work in concrete situations: a photo, question and comment may each need different checks. Together, we define the tasks we take on and when your responsible staff should be involved. This gives ongoing moderation a clear framework.
Support editorial work with suitable technology
Our image assessment supports the selection of community photos. It processes images on our own hardware using defined criteria, including aesthetic features. This gives the editorial team a shortlist for further work. A submitted image is not automatically suspicious; it may also be a candidate for an editorial recommendation. The criteria and the way results feed into the workflow depend on the task. Technical screening complements human assessment.
For broader support, we are developing Modary, a moderation platform currently in testing. It considers posts in their conversational context and separates a model's assessment from the question of which action the rules permit. In shadow mode, teams can first observe how the system would decide without executing those actions. Human corrections take priority. Whether and to what extent automatic actions suit your community is determined by its content, rules and responsibilities.
