Sell journeys and connect guests
Digital services accompany guests long before boarding and beyond their return. For Seetours, AIDA Cruises' sales brand, we developed a dedicated platform combining cruise search, price alerts and editorial offers. Ship and destination information helps travellers find suitable cruises and proceed to booking. The platform combines data from AIDA's booking system with its own brand presence, opening an additional sales channel. We manage its operation and have developed it with sales and editorial teams for years.
The AIDA Lounge centres on conversation between guests. Before departure, questions and answers help with preparation, while travel groups bring together people on the same sailing. During and after the trip, guests capture experiences in photos and journals, inspiring others' next journeys. The community we designed and developed has around half a million registered users. Our work also includes daily editorial support, moderation and feature development. The community remains a place for meeting people and sharing experiences beyond individual trips.
Consider on-board communication and operations
On board, existing servers, interfaces and changing connectivity shape how a digital service must be built. Replira is our own software for communication in this environment: cabin and private chats connect guests, while short-lived QR invitations encourage personal contact. Service chats give reception, the kids' club and excursion teams a direct way to coordinate with guests. We tailor integration to each operator and its guest services.
This experience in sales, guest communities and on-board communication also informs our work on new cruise and ferry projects. We consider actual usage, existing infrastructure and future operations together: which systems need to cooperate, which content requires ongoing maintenance and how can new features be added? Viable components can be retained. From concept through ongoing support, we connect the requirements of guests, business departments and IT so the service can operate day to day and evolve incrementally.
